Physical Therapy

Children referred for Physical Therapy will be seen by a state certified Physical Therapist. The therapist will work to enhance the child’s overall strength and mobility to maximize their level of functional independence. Therapeutic exercises will challenge the child to experience success in normal movement patterns during play and functional activities. Parents will be instructed in a home program for the child to continue therapy in the home setting.

Working with children in the areas of:

• Gross motor skills, ambulation, gait, mobility
• Balance, coordination and postural control
• Muscle strength, range of motion and skeletal alignment
• Sensory motor function, functional exercises
• Developmental Delay
• Athletic Injuries
