Laurie Hall



    Laurie Hall, SLP/CCC, brings over 30 years experience to Geneva Pediatric Therapy Center.  Laurie has worked in a wide variety of clinical settings. The vast majority of her experience has been working with children in preschool settings and in the public school system.

     Laurie graduated from the University of South Alabama in 1981 where she received her B.S. degree. She completed her Master’s of Communication Disorders at Auburn University in 1983. Laurie currently holds a valid Florida State License to practice Speech and Language Pathology.  Laurie holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence.

     Laurie is a member of the following Speech and Language Professional Organizations: Member of American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), Florida Speech and Hearing Association (FLASHA) and Jacksonville Area Speech Pathology Association (JASPA).

     Northwest St Johns County has been home to Laurie and her husband for over 20 years. They enjoy spending time with their adult sons and their families.


Maria Helgeson



     Maria Helgeson, SLP/CCC, has over 25 years of experience working with children with communication disorders. She has worked extensively with pre-school age children.

     In 1990 Maria graduated with a Masters of Education in Communication Disorders degree from Southeastern Louisiana University.  Maria currently holds a valid Florida State License to practice Speech and Language Pathology. Maria  holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence.

     Maria is a member of the following Speech and Language Pathology Professional Organizations:  Member of American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), Florida Speech and Hearing Association (FLASHA) and Jacksonville Area Speech Pathology Association (JASPA).

     Maria and her husband have lived in this community for over 20 years and have two adult children.

Lara DiMartino



     Lara DiMartino, M.S., CCC-SLP earned her B.S. degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Florida State University in 1992 and her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from University of Hawaii in 1994. She is ASHA certified and licensed to provide services in Florida, Georgia and California.

      She received training in various clinical settings, but followed her interest in helping children and began her career in speech-language pathology in the public school setting. She has worked in Hawaii, Georgia and Florida. Lara then went on to run her own private practice which focused on early intervention and pediatric speech-language therapy in clients’ homes, day cares, and preschools. She is now providing her clinical services for Geneva Pediatric Therapy Center and a Telehealth clinical service provider.

     She is a Florida native and has resided in northwest St. Johns County with her husband and two teenagers for over 14 years.

Lauren Hall



      Lauren Hall, M.S., CCC-SLP, graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2014 where she received both her B.S. degree and Master’s in Speech Language Pathology. During her schooling, Lauren completed internships in a variety of clinical settings including the University’s clinic, an elementary school, a pediatric private practice, and an acute care hospital.

     Lauren had the opportunity to train under Debra Beckman, an oral motor specialist, nationally renowned for her Beckman Oral Motor Protocol. Lauren has worked with the pediatric population exclusively in private practice settings.

     Lauren currently holds a valid Florida State License to practice Speech Language Pathology and a Certificate of Clinical Competence. She is a member of the following Speech and Language professional organizations: American Speech, Language and Hearing association (ASHA), and Jacksonville Area Speech Pathology Association.

     Lauren and her husband both grew up in Jacksonville and continue to call it home. They have have one (adorable) baby boy.
